Trump Warns U.S. Would ‘Completely Annihilate’ Iran If He Is Assassinated

U.S. President Donald Trump warned on Friday that the United States would “completely annihilate” Iran if it attempted to assassinate him or succeeded in doing so.

In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump wrote:

“There are 1,000 missiles ready to be launched and aimed at Iran, followed immediately by thousands more, if the Iranian government carries out the threat it has announced in various parts of the world to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the current President of the United States of America — in this case, me.”

He added:

“I have given the orders, and the U.S. military is ready, willing, and able, for one year, renewable, to annihilate and destroy all areas of Iran completely.”
