Trump Receives “Architect of Peace” Award from the Nixon Foundation

CBS News reported that U.S. President Donald Trump received the “Architect of Peace” Award from the Richard Nixon Foundation during a ceremony held at the White House on Tuesday.اضافة اعلان
According to CBS News, Trump was presented with the award by Tricia Nixon Cox, daughter of the late President Richard Nixon, along with Robert O’Brien, former National Security Advisor, and Jim Byron, acting Archivist of the United States.
Trump’s recognition comes in acknowledgment of his key role in brokering the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, which was announced just two days before the Nobel Peace Prize was awarded.
Earlier, the Nobel Committee in Oslo announced that this year’s prize had been awarded to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado, in recognition of her ongoing efforts to promote democratic rights for the people of Venezuela.
