Spain Summons Iranian Ambassador to Condemn Tehran’s Handling of Protesters

Spain on Tuesday summoned Iran’s ambassador to Madrid to express its “strong denunciation and condemnation” of the crackdown carried out by Tehran’s authorities against protests which, according to human rights organizations, has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people.اضافة اعلان

Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares told Catalunya Radio: “The right of Iranians—men and women—to peaceful protest and freedom of expression must be respected, and arbitrary arrests must come to an end.”
