U.S. President Donald Trump posted a satirical video on the platform Truth Social depicting him piloting a fighter jet labeled “KING TRUMP” over crowds of protesters. The demonstrators were participating in “No Kings in America” protests against him on Saturday. In the video, Trump appears to drop what looks like virtual “excrement” on the protesters from the sky.

The video comes amid a wave of protests led by the “No Kings in America” movement, which criticized what it sees as authoritarian tendencies in Trump, particularly in light of the ongoing government shutdown and delayed negotiations over reopening.
In a Fox Business interview, Trump responded to accusations of being a “king,” saying: “I am not a king… Some say they refer to me as a king… but I am not.”
Some Republican leaders described the protests as anti-American, while House Speaker Mike Johnson earlier this week claimed that the demonstrations contributed to the ongoing government shutdown.
