Russian local authorities said Monday that six people were killed in a Ukrainian missile strike on the Belgorod region, near the border between the two countries.

Regional Governor Alexander Shovayev said on the government-backed MAX platform that “six civilians were killed and four others were wounded, including a child.” He said the strike hit the town of Koloskovo, about 15 kilometers from the border.
