Water Ministry: Violations Detected on Main Pipeline in Al-Jiza and Infraction in Sweileh

The Ministry of Water and Irrigation / Water Authority announced that its teams have detected illegal tapping into a main carrier pipeline in the Al-Jiza area, south of Amman, as well as a violation inside a building in Sweileh.اضافة اعلان

The Ministry explained that internal monitoring teams, in cooperation with the Jordan Water Company (Miyahuna) and relevant authorities—supported by a security escort—identified a violation on a 600 mm diameter carrier line that feeds the Al-Jiza area. The illegal connection was disconnected, official reports were filed, and the case was referred to the competent authorities.

In a related context, teams discovered a building in Sweileh that was collecting non-potable water and selling it illegally. Authorities confiscated the pump and issued a violation report to proceed with legal action against the offenders.
