According to the spokesperson, the first floor of the building contained a carpentry workshop, timber storage, and a paint workshop, while the second floor housed a furniture showroom. The remaining floors consisted of residential apartments.

Firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze and brought it fully under control, preventing it from spreading to other floors and neighboring buildings despite the presence of highly flammable materials inside the facility.

The fire resulted in two people suffering from breathing difficulties due to smoke and gas inhalation. Ambulance teams provided first aid at the scene before transferring them to Al Bashir Hospital. Their condition was reported as moderate.

The firefighting operation, which involved heavy smoke due to the nature of the burning materials, included personnel from the West and Central Amman Civil Defense Directorates, as well as support units from the Capital and Central Regions. Police and gendarmerie forces also participated, alongside water tankers provided by Greater Amman Municipality.

The relevant authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
