His Majesty King Abdullah II on Monday bade farewell to the Hajj (pilgrimage to the Holy House of God) delegation designated for the families of martyrs from the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army (JAF) and security agencies.اضافة اعلان

This delegation departs annually from the Royal Hashemite Court, in profound appreciation of the martyrs' sacrifices in defending the homeland and its security, and as an honor to their families.

His Majesty expressed his best wishes to the members of the delegation for a blessed Hajj (Hajj Mabroor) and accepted endeavors, praying that God accepts their acts of worship and returns them safely to their families.

During the ceremony, Royal Hashemite Court Chief Yousef Hassan Al-Issawi delivered a speech in which he stated that the Royal gesture of dispatching the families of military martyrs and injured personnel to perform the Hajj rituals annually embodies the highest meanings of Royal loyalty to the sacrifices of the brave personnel of the Arab Army and security agencies in safeguarding the nation's security and stability.

For his part, the Imam of the Hashemite Court, Dr. Ahmed Al-Khalaileh, spoke about the sublime meanings of Hajj, represented in obedience to God Almighty, diligence in righteous deeds, strengthening Muslim unity, and cooperating in righteousness, piety, giving, sacrifice, and altruism.

A number of the martyrs' families expressed their deep gratitude to His Majesty the King for his continuous care in enabling them to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, highly appreciating His Majesty's keenness to personally bid them farewell before their departure to the Holy Lands.
