The IEC confirmed, through its spokesperson Mohammad Khair Al-Rawashdeh, that once it is officially notified of the vacancy of the parliamentary seat, in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution and the Election and Political Parties Laws, it will formally announce the name of the MP who will succeed the dismissed member.

Pursuant to the Election Law, the Political Parties Law, and the IEC Law, and given that the seat is allocated to the youth quota, the successor to Al-Jarrah will be the young candidate from the same party list that originally contested the election.
