The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has urged pedestrians on streets and roadways to adhere to locations and paths designated for crossing streets, such as pedestrian bridges and crosswalks.اضافة اعلان

The Directorate stated on Wednesday morning that it had responded to numerous pedestrian-runover accidents over the past few days.

It emphasized the necessity of avoiding standing unsafely on the edge of the road, stressing the importance of remaining on sidewalks and ensuring that the street is clear of vehicles before crossing.

The Directorate also called on drivers to comply with specified speed limits and traffic regulations, stay away from dangerous violations, and yield the right-of-way to pedestrians, particularly in residential areas.
