AMMAN — Minister of
Transportation Wajeeh Azayzeh on Tuesday said that Saudi Arabia has approved
giving drivers of vehicles that ferry passengers across the border and public transport
vehicles, which operate on the international line, a multiple-entry visa to
Saudi Arabia, according to Al-Ghad.
The Saudi embassy in Jordan
started issuing visas to drivers on Monday, Azayzeh said, indicating that both sides had reached an agreement on the matter.
For issuing a visa, drivers
should refer to Visa Facilitation Services (VFS) to submit the necessary
applications, according to the transportation minister, who stressed that
drivers must be fully immunized with the one of the Saudi-authorized COVID-19
vaccines and that 14 days have passed since taking the second jab.
