Safadi trusts Saudi Arabia’s Palestinian peace commitment

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, expressed trust in Saudi Arabia's clear stance on the Palestinian issue and their commitment to a just and comprehensive peace during a recent interview. He emphasized that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia consistently underscores the necessity of resolving the Palestinian issue through a two-state solution, seeing it as the path to a fair and all-encompassing peace, Ammon News reported.

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan had previously stated that a resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict hinges on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. He further elaborated in official statements on Monday, "People are beginning to lose faith in the two-state solution, and our aim is to revive it through our concerted efforts."
