SSC launches Air Ambulance for policyholders’ work-related accidents

AMMAN — The Social Security Corporation (SSC) said in a statement that in coordination with the Public Security Department; the Civil Defense, and the Air Ambulance service, it has launched on Sunday a new service to assist in responding to work-related emergencies for insured members.اضافة اعلان

The SSC said that the service will be available for work-related accidents that require urgent transfer to hospitals within the SSC’s medical network, provided that such cases occur in areas distant from governorates and accessible hospitals.

The SSC said that if an accident occurs at work, including road accidents, an institution’s liaison officer, where the worker serves, must contact the Command and Control Center of the Public Security Department at 911 to request the air ambulance service. 

Cases will be dealt with in accordance with the health protocol in place.

The service is also available electronically via the SSC’s website. 

The SSC’s medical network includes 39 medical institutions across the Kingdom, in addition to the Royal Medical Services hospitals
