The plan includes providing alternative routes and all necessary traffic safety measures in cooperation with the Traffic Department and the Public Security Directorate in Aqaba.
This plan aims to ensure that the event is held in the best possible manner, especially since the race attracts runners from Jordan and abroad, bringing together running enthusiasts of all age groups in a sporting experience that promotes healthy lifestyles and strengthens the spirit of teamwork.
Run Jordan confirmed the readiness of Traffic Department teams to assist citizens in following the alternative routes and avoiding parking or stopping in the lanes designated for the race, in order to maintain smooth traffic flow and save time and effort for everyone.
The traffic closures will be as follows:
From 4:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon:
Full closure of Al-Farouq Street in both directions (from its starting point near Airport Street until its intersection with Al-Istiqlal Street), including all traffic openings and side roads leading to Al-Farouq Street.
