Queen Rania Al Abdullah praised a Jordanian medical achievement by physician Nancy Al-Raqad following the successful artificial cornea transplant performed on a 104-year-old Jordanian woman.اضافة اعلان
In a comment posted on Instagram, Queen Rania wrote: “A picture that makes the heart grow bigger... Thank you, Dr. Nancy. An achievement that carries both knowledge and compassion.”
She also expressed pride in every Jordanian woman “who creates hope with her own hands.”
Dr. Nancy Al-Raqad had earlier announced the successful artificial cornea transplant through her social media account, describing the procedure as a “historic milestone.”
She added: “A transplant that illuminated our hearts before it restored light after darkness for her.”
