The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate (PSD), Colonel Amer Al-Sartawi, stated that the directorate has raised its alert level and activated emergency plans to deal with the current events in the region.اضافة اعلان

Speaking during a joint press briefing with the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF) at the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), Al-Sartawi added that the PSD has produced awareness materials and issued preventative guidelines to protect citizens and property while raising public awareness.

Al-Sartawi confirmed that all Civil Defense personnel have been placed on high alert, and emergency plans have been activated. Furthermore, air raid sirens were sounded in coordination with the Jordan Armed Forces.

He noted that 207 incidents involving falling shrapnel and objects were recorded across various governorates of the Kingdom. Al-Sartawi confirmed that 14 injuries were reported, all of which were minor, along with limited property damage to homes and vehicles.
