PSD deploys to Southern Jordan Valley

AMMAN — The Public Security Directorate (PSD) on Sunday launched a security campaign in the Southern Jordan Valley following complaints from citizens about rioters that threatened them and trespassed on private property, according to Al-Ghad.اضافة اعلان

More than 1,000 police officers participated in the campaign, according to PSD. The directorate called on citizens to cooperate with the police and not to hesitate to file complaints.

The campaign aims at maintaining the sovereignty of the law, and the police might use force if necessary to stop any violations, the PSD said.

The directorate added that the campaign will continue until the region is secure and those who threaten the security and safety of people are arrested.
