Number of spectators allowed at sports events raised

AMMAN — The number of spectators allowed at professional sports events in the Kingdom will now be raised from 30 percent of a venue’s capacity to 50 percent. The decision was taken under the directives of His Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, Chairman of the Executive Board of the Football Association, according to Al Ghad News.اضافة اعلان

The decision aims to increase revenues of sports clubs through mass attendance of games, while at the same time maintaining public safety in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The decision will take effect from Thursday, September 30, with the start of the nineteenth round of the Jordanian Pro League.
