Northern Military Zone Foils Infiltration Attempt Along Border

Jordan’s Northern Military Zone thwarted an infiltration attempt on Wednesday after an individual tried to cross the Kingdom’s northern border illegally.

The individual was detected by Jordanian Border Guard personnel, who applied the established rules of engagement, arrested the suspect, and referred the case to the competent authorities for the necessary legal procedures.

The Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army reaffirmed that they will continue to deal firmly and decisively with all forms of infiltration and smuggling in order to safeguard the Kingdom’s security and stability and protect its borders from any threats.
