The project will extend from the Al-Awaisheh complex to the beginning of the Dababneh Tunnel, covering a distance of approximately 6 kilometers. The scope of work includes building side islands to regulate access to and from commercial complexes without affecting the main traffic flow. It will also involve maintenance of the central median, repair of existing pedestrian bridges to ensure the safety of road users, and replacement of sodium lighting units with energy-efficient LED lights to reduce energy consumption and improve road illumination.

The project aims to enhance traffic flow, reduce congestion, and promote road safety by upgrading the road infrastructure and incorporating energy-saving lighting technologies.

"This project is part of our broader plans to develop road infrastructure and improve the experience for both drivers and pedestrians, with a strong focus on environmental and sustainability aspects."

It is worth noting that the Amman–Salt road is one of the Kingdom’s vital transport corridors, and this initiative is part of a series of projects to develop the main road network.
