In a post on Facebook, Al-Zayoud emphasized that the ministry does not intend to grant any exemptions in this regard. He clarified that any non-Jordanian present in the Kingdom, whether a refugee or not, who wishes to enter the labor market must obtain a valid work permit.

He added that anyone whose work permit has expired is required to renew it and pay all applicable fees and fines, and must also adhere to working in the authorized occupation and under the approved employer.
