Ministry of Awqaf Calls for Lunar Eclipse Prayer This Evening

The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has called on worshippers across the Kingdom to perform the lunar eclipse prayer in mosques this evening, Sunday, in the event of the eclipse.اضافة اعلان

In a circular, the ministry stated that the Kingdom is expected to witness a total lunar eclipse starting at 8:30 p.m. and lasting until 10:56 p.m. It explained that the lunar eclipse prayer (Salat al-Khusuf) is a confirmed Sunnah, performed according to the ability and convenience of worshippers without hardship.

The ministry urged worshippers to perform the prayer, turn to God with repentance and devotion, engage in good deeds and charity, and supplicate sincerely to Him.
