In a visit to Aqaba Port Marine Services Company (APMSCO), Yaseen indicated that the marine services have a global reputation for adhering to the highest safety standards, environmental protection, and keeping pace with marine activities.

This is done through the company’s trained and qualified staff, and with the aim to keep in line with the recent developments related to maritime work.
Yaseen was also briefed on the services provided by APMSCO to enhance the maritime shipping at the Aqaba port.

Dirk Wijnen, the general manager of the company, discussed the operation mechanisms of the naval units in organizing the entry of steamships that dock on the Aqaba port.

Wijnen indicated that APMSCO seeks to enhance the services provided to steamships and ships in the Aqaba port to ensure it maintains its status amongst global companies operating in the marine services field.

He added that the enhanced services would also efficiently and effectively impact work by following the most recent international standards and that they would support the transportation field in the Kingdom.
