On Sunday, the Greater Mafraq Municipality began installing 11 specialized cameras to monitor and record environmental violations by its vehicles and machinery. This initiative is part of the executive program for the cleanliness strategy, aimed at reducing random waste disposal and promoting environmental responsibility and community awareness.

The measure aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Local Administration and the Ministry of Environment, and supports the implementation of the economic modernization vision by enhancing monitoring and oversight efficiency.
The municipality noted that the cameras will document any environmental violations by its vehicles, ensuring that applicable regulations and instructions are enforced fairly and transparently, while fostering a culture of compliance, discipline, and the preservation of a clean environment.
