The Land Transport Regulatory Commission (LTRC) has announced the issuance of Tender No. (1/2026/Consultancy Services) to evaluate its activities from regulatory and legal perspectives. This initiative aims to develop the regulatory framework for the land transport sector in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

This tender is part of the Commission's commitment to reviewing and updating its regulatory and legislative systems to keep pace with rapid developments in the transport sector, while enhancing institutional performance and service quality.
The project seeks to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the Commission's activities regarding regulatory and legal frameworks, identifying gaps and shortcomings, and analyzing the efficiency and effectiveness of current regulations and instructions. The ultimate goal is to provide practical recommendations that support the development of the regulatory environment and bolster oversight and regulation.
The Commission has set the project execution period at 180 calendar days, covering data collection and analysis phases, consultation with relevant stakeholders, and the preparation of final reports and recommendations.
The Commission invited specialized and qualified entities to bid according to the specified terms and requirements via the Jordan On-line E-Procurement System (JONEPS). It emphasized that evaluation and award procedures will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the effective Government Procurement Bylaw, ensuring transparency and equal opportunity.
