The New Kufranjah Municipality began today, Saturday, removing the stone barriers along Al-Safah Road in preparation for fully opening the roadway and commencing paving works in the coming period.

Ismail Al-Arroud, head of the municipal committee, told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that this work is part of a plan to improve the infrastructure in the district and enhance the level of services provided to residents. He explained that the municipality has completed removing the stone chains that previously restricted traffic flow and hindered the road’s preparation stages.
He added that the municipality is currently finalizing leveling procedures and determining the necessary technical points before the start of paving works. The road will undergo engineering and service improvements that will ensure smoother traffic movement and help reduce the congestion the area has previously experienced.
Al-Arroud noted that Kufranjah Municipality continues to implement development projects aimed at improving the efficiency of internal roads and enhancing service quality, stressing its commitment to field follow-up and completing the project according to the highest standards.
