AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Saturday departed on a working trip that includes visits to Egypt, Algeria, and Italy, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
In the working visit to Egypt, King Abdullah is slated to hold talks with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
His Majesty will head from Cairo to Algiers, to start a state visit at the invitation of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
The King is scheduled to hold talks with President Tebboune, and to meet with a number of senior Algerian officials.
In Rome, His Majesty will hold talks with Italian President Sergio Mattarella and Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
His Royal Highness Prince Ali bin Al Hussein was sworn in as Regent, in the presence of Cabinet members.
