Kharabsheh Inspects Electricity Networks in the South, the Jordan Valley, and Eastern Regions in Preparation for the Upcoming Winter

His Excellency Dr. Saleh Kharabsheh, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, accompanied by Eng. Ziad Al-Sa’ideh, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Energy and Minerals Regulatory Commission, conducted an inspection visit on Saturday to the control and monitoring room of the Electricity Distribution Company.اضافة اعلان




During the visit, the company’s Director General, Eng. Reem Hamdan, briefed them on operational performance and the company’s plans to enhance readiness for the upcoming winter, ensuring continuity of electricity supply and service quality for all subscribers across the company’s areas of operation.

Dr. Kharabsheh emphasized the importance of continuously developing technical infrastructure and enhancing the efficiency of monitoring and control systems to meet growing electricity demand, strengthen supply security and sustainability, and activate emergency plans for effective response under varying weather conditions.

According to official data from the Electricity Distribution Company, its service area covers the governorates of Karak, Tafila, Ma’an, Aqaba, the Jordan Valley, and the eastern regions of Ruwaished, Azraq, and Safawi.
