Jordan’s Position on Syrian Stability
Dr. Atieh emphasized that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, is committed to the security and stability of the Syrian state. He reaffirmed Jordan's readiness to provide expertise in various fields to support Syria’s reconstruction and serve its people.

Key Security Priority: Dr. Atieh stressed the urgent need for intensified coordination with relevant Syrian authorities to secure the northern borders, halt drug smuggling operations, and eliminate smuggling hubs, noting that border stability serves the mutual interests of both nations.

Strengthening Economic and Brotherly Ties

Described Jordanian-Syrian relations as "solid and brotherly," based on mutual respect.

Called for enhancing bilateral trade and removing obstacles to economic cooperation.

Reiterated that Syria's stability is integral to the stability of Jordan and the wider region, expressing a firm rejection of any aggression on Syrian territory.

Expressed pride in the deep-rooted ties between the two countries.

Affirmed Jordan’s support for Syria’s reconstruction efforts, noting that the Kingdom stands by Syria as it moves toward rebuilding, which fosters regional integration.
