Amman- Prince Hamzah Hospital announced that employee Nisreen Hanan, who holds a Master of Science in Medical Ultrasound and works in the Radiology Department as a vascular imaging specialist, has been selected among the Radiology Business Forty Under 40 Class of 2025.

The recognition is considered one of the most prestigious international awards granted to outstanding young leaders in medical imaging and radiology services management.
Director General of Prince Hamzah Hospital Kifah Abu Tarboush told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) on Thursday that the award is presented by the U.S.-based Radiology Business platform, a leading global media entity specializing in the development of radiology services. Each year, it selects 40 individuals under the age of forty who have made influential contributions to advancing radiological practices and improving medical service quality.
He explained that honoring Hanan reflects her scientific and professional achievements, including the introduction of advanced imaging technologies at the hospital such as Shear Wave Elastography, her role in training staff and enhancing their competencies in vascular imaging, and her involvement in supporting vascular surgeries using real-time imaging devices. Her contributions also extend to community awareness efforts on early diagnosis of vascular diseases.
Hanan’s master's project received the "Best Project Award" at the National Heart and Lung Institute at Imperial College London, in addition to her participation in multiple international scientific conferences.
Abu Tarboush stressed that this accomplishment highlights the excellence of the hospital’s medical staff and reinforces its position as an incubator for innovation and leadership. He added that having an employee earn such a prestigious international award places Jordan on the global map of radiology and medical imaging advancement.
He noted that the hospital will continue building on these achievements to enhance training programs, support continuous professional development, and improve patient services.
Head of the Radiology Department Ahmad Abu Ain praised Hanan’s efforts, stating that her distinction reflects the department’s teamwork culture and motivates colleagues to pursue further innovation in diagnostic services.
The hospital administration commended Hanan and affirmed its ongoing support for all staff members participating in international programs and competitions that help elevate medical knowledge and enhance the quality of healthcare provided to citizens.
