Jordan sees company surge: 20% more firms since 2019

AMMAN – On Thursday, the Companies Control Department (CCD) reported that the number of registered companies in Jordan increased by 11 percent compared to 2023, and by 20 percent compared to 2019. اضافة اعلان

According to the CCD, the total registered capital exceeded JD21.2 million. The highest number of registered companies in 2024 were limited liability companies (LLCs), with 622 companies accounting for 64.2 percent of the registered companies and a total registered capital exceeding JD10.7 million, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

Additionally, the number of companies that were dissolved or deregistered decreased by 17 percent compared to 2023, and by 52 percent compared to 2019.
