The Ministry stressed that it holds Israel responsible for their safety and warned against exposing them to any harm.

Spokesperson Fouad Al-Majali stated that through the Operations and Consular Affairs Directorate, the Ministry is in direct contact with some of the Jordanian citizens to ensure their well-being and is undertaking all necessary actions and communications to guarantee their safety, protect their rights, and facilitate their return to Jordan.

Al-Majali also noted that the Ministry will provide any possible and necessary assistance to evacuate nationals of friendly and sister countries if requested.

The Ministry condemned the attack on the flotilla as a blatant violation of international law, a threat to freedom of navigation, and an endangerment to civilians’ lives.

Al-Majali emphasized the need for the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities, to ensure Israel respects its obligations under international and humanitarian law, and to lift all restrictions on the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza to address the exceptional crisis caused by the Israeli aggression on the Strip.
