Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi received a phone call on Tuesday evening from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

Safadi and Al Zayani underscored the depth and strength of the brotherly relations binding the two sisterly kingdoms, as well as their joint commitment to enhancing and advancing them in service of the interests of both countries and peoples.
The two ministers discussed regional developments, the ramifications of escalation in the region, and ongoing efforts aimed at restoring calm and fostering security and stability.
They stressed the necessity of adhering to the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, and reaching a comprehensive resolution to the crisis that addresses all root causes of tension while ensuring regional security and stability.
Furthermore, both ministers affirmed the solidarity of the two kingdoms in confronting Iranian attacks against them and against the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
