AMMAN — Temperatures on Tuesday are forecast to dip few
degrees, so it will be relatively hot in the highlands and the plains, and hot
in other regions, with clouds at various altitudes and a chance of light
showers in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom.
According to the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), a
further drop in mercury levels is expected on Wednesday, bringing relatively hot conditions in the Badia,
while it will remain hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba.
On Thursday, similar weather conditions will continue to
persist, with northwesterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD said, according to the Jordan News Agency, Petra.
The highs in Amman and other highlands across the Kingdom
will range between 28°C and 32°C on Tuesday, dropping at night to 19°C or even
13°C in the southern highlands. In the gulf city of Aqaba, it will be hotter
with mercury reaching a high of 41°C and a low of 24°C.
