Fire in a polystyrene factory extinguished

AMMAN — Firefighters of Balqa's Civil Defense Directorate today extinguished a fire that broke out inside a hangar belonging to a polystyrene factory. اضافة اعلان

The hanger contained raw materials used in the manufacturing of polystyrene. The fire did not result in any casualties, Public Security Directorate Spokesperson Amer Sartawi told Jordan News.

According to Sartawi, the area of the hanger, located  in Deir A'lla area, was estimated at 500sqm.

Sartawi noted that the blaze was successfully contained without spreading to neighboring places.

An investigation has been opened into the accident, Sartawi told Jordan News.
