The National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM) announced the continuation of testing for the National Warning Message System across six governorates. This comes as part of verifying the system's technical capabilities and its effectiveness in delivering warning messages to citizens.

The test trials for the National Warning Message System are scheduled to take place in the governorates of Irbid, Ajloun, Mafraq, Karak, Tafileh, and Aqaba.
The Center emphasized that these tests fall under evaluating the technical side of the system, including ensuring that the warning messages are delivered successfully and measuring their efficiency in alerting citizens.
Starting last Monday, the NCSCM began launching warning messages on mobile phones as part of a series of tests conducted on the National Warning Message System across most governorates of the Kingdom, which will continue until August 2nd.
According to the Center, these tests are being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC), and licensed telecom companies in the Kingdom, to assess the system's readiness to warn against the risks of crises, disasters, and emergency events.
The Center urged citizens not to panic or worry upon receiving the test messages, clarifying that the messages delivered to mobile phones in both Arabic and English will be accompanied by an audio alert to attract attention and ensure immediate viewing.
