Central Jordan received bulk of rainfall this year

AMMAN — Rainfall was below seasonal average in the southern and eastern parts of the Kingdom this year, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) forecast, according to Khabrni News.اضافة اعلان

While central regions, including the central parts of the Jordan Valley, recorded higher rainfall before the rainy season ended, JMD said.

It said rainfall in the northern region was modest, it said.

Despite the higher average in central Jordan, the rainy season in general remained weak this year, compared with the last 10 seasons.
