Amman-bound Yemeni aircraft emergency lands in Jeddah

AMMAN — Yemen’s flag carrier, Yemenia said that one of its aircraft heading to Amman from Sanaa, which is controlled by Houthis, made an emergency landing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, according to a local news outlet.اضافة اعلان

In a statement on its Facebook page, Yemenia said that the plane landed at Jeddah Airport because one of the passengers developed a health problem while flying in Saudi airspace.

The statement said that “necessary medical measures were undertaken at the airport hospital, but the passenger’s condition deteriorated and he passed away at the hospital.”
