On Thursday, Health Minister Ibrahim Al-Badour visited the National Center for Addiction Rehabilitation, affiliated with the Ministry of Health, to review the current state of health and treatment services provided to patients and to assess the level of psychological care and rehabilitation across the center’s various departments.اضافة اعلان

During his tour, Al-Badour received a detailed briefing from the center’s staff on the approved treatment and rehabilitation programs, methods of managing addiction patients, and the main challenges facing medical and nursing personnel. He emphasized that enhancing the quality of mental health services and addiction treatment is a national priority to protect society and mitigate the negative consequences of addiction. He also spoke with patients and reviewed their needs and feedback.

The Minister confirmed the Ministry’s commitment to supporting and developing addiction treatment centers, providing the necessary resources to enable them to carry out their therapeutic and rehabilitative roles according to the highest standards. This contributes to rehabilitating patients, reintegrating them into society, and improving their quality of life.

Al-Badour stressed the importance of continuing to provide comprehensive and safe services that consider the health, psychological, and social aspects of patients, noting that investment in addiction treatment is an investment in the health and stability of the community.
