AMMAN — Since moving to the new Al-Iman Public
Hospital in Ajloun, doctors and medical staff at have performed 650 operations
of various types, said hospital director, Mohamad Freihat.

According to the Jordan News Agency, Petra, he said that
since moving to the new hospital, 650 operations have been performed, including
40 high-quality laser operations.
These operations constitute a “quantum leap” for services
provided to patients in public hospitals.
The hospital’s new building is equipped with the latest technologies and
advanced medical devices for various medical conditions, he said.
Reinforced with medical staff, he said that the hospital
aims to provide the best medical services to patients.
The emergency department receives 450–500 patients daily from various clinics
and hospital departments, he added. It is equipped with 45 beds and is staffed
with internal medicine practitioners, pediatrics, general surgery, a family
doctor, three general practitioners, and 10 nurses round the clock, he added.
