906,000 tourists flock to Petra, anticipating million mark

AMMAN –The number of visitors to Petra has reached 906,000 tourists since the beginning of the current year. According to Suleiman Al-Farjat, the President of the Petra Development and Tourism Authority, with the increasing number of tourists, investments have surged, especially in the hotel sector, over the past four years, matching the total investments made in the last 30 years.اضافة اعلان

Al-Farjat also mentioned that the current visitor numbers have already surpassed those of the previous year, which recorded 905,000 visitors. Based on this trend, he predicts that the Red Rose City will welcome one million tourists in October. The majority of these visitors are from the United States and Europe, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
