The second and third installments, each valued at JD 31 million, will become due during the second and fourth quarters of this year.

Under the agreement, citizens aged 60 and above—considered the most vulnerable to cancer and the most costly group according to specialized studies—are covered for treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center.

All Jordanian children aged 19 and under are also covered for treatment at the center, in addition to all beneficiaries of the National Aid Fund, regardless of age.

The total cost of the program amounts to approximately JD 132.7 million. The government will cover around JD 124.1 million of that amount, while the King Hussein Cancer Foundation will contribute the remaining JD 8.6 million.

The program represents a shift from the previous exemption-based model to a more sustainable, comprehensive, and effective insurance-based system. Electronic insurance cards have been issued through the Sanad App in the names of all individuals covered under this insurance scheme.
