Steps to prepare crispy halloumi sticks at home:
Ingredients:
250 g halloumi cheese
1 cup breadcrumbs (ground bread)

1 cup 1/2 cups flour
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Oil for frying
Tomato sauce, for serving
Instructions:
Slice the halloumi cheese into equal-sized fingers.
Put the flour on a plate, in another dish whisk the eggs with the milk, and in a third dish mix the breading with paprika and black pepper.
Run the halloumi fingers in the flour first, then into the egg mixture, then coat them well in breading.
Place fingers in the fridge for 15 minutes to set the packaging.
Heat the oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
Fry the halloumi sticks until they acquire color and are crispy on all sides.
Lift on kitchen paper to get rid of excess oil.
Serve hot with tomato sauce or whatever sauce you prefer.
