Formula 1 world champion Lando Norris has co-founded a new team aimed at helping young drivers make their way through the various development categories on the path to the highest levels of motorsport.

The LN4 Fusion project has acquired assets from AIX Racing and confirmed its participation in the Italian Formula 4 Championship, the Formula Regional European Championship, and the FIA Formula 3 Championship, which serves as a support category for the Formula 1 World Championship. The team is also working to expand its activities to include the British Formula 4 Championship and Formula 2.
Alongside this, Norris is launching a separate, fully funded driver development program aimed at discovering promising young talent and supporting them by removing financial barriers, in addition to providing training, guidance, and career mentorship.
Speaking ahead of this week's Italian Grand Prix, Norris said he had been fortunate to have great people around him throughout his career, and that he understands reaching Formula 1 takes far more than talent alone, requiring the right people, the right support, and the right opportunities at the right time, adding that this is the essence of both projects.
He said he wants to give the next generation real opportunities, both on and off the track, and hopes to make a tangible difference in the careers of young drivers rising through the sport.
René Rosin will serve as CEO of the new team. Rosin belongs to the founding family of the storied Italian team Prema, which has played a prominent role in developing several current Formula 1 drivers, including Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli, Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc, and Norris's McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.
Guillaume Cappietto, Prema's former technical director, will serve as racing director for the new project.
