Prince Ali: FIFA Releases Jordan Team Payments After Eight-Month Delay
Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of the Jordan Football Association and the West Asian Football Federation, said on Thursday that FIFA had unexpectedly transferred the long-overdue financial payments owed to Jordan's national football team players and coaching staff for reaching the final of the FIFA Arab Cup, held in Qatar last December.اضافة اعلان

In a post on X, Prince Ali said the payments should have been made eight months ago.

While welcoming the release of the funds as positive news for the national team, he stressed that the development does not change the serious concerns shared by many within the football community regarding FIFA's leadership, nor does it erase the difficulties national football associations have faced in recent years.

Prince Ali said the delayed payments reflect broader challenges that often arise in connection with FIFA presidential elections.

He also reaffirmed his position on FIFA's leadership, stating that the Jordan Football Association will not support or vote for FIFA President Gianni Infantino in any future election.
