Manchester City cruised to a commanding 4-1 victory away to Crystal Palace on Friday in the second round of the Premier League.
The win took Manchester City to six points at the top of the Premier League table after securing back-to-back victories, with the club awaiting the remaining results of the round.

City, who finished runners-up last season, had opened their campaign with a narrow 2-1 home victory over Bournemouth in the first round under Italian manager Enzo Maresca.
Crystal Palace, meanwhile, suffered their second consecutive defeat after losing 2-0 to Everton in the opening round.
Erling Haaland put Manchester City ahead in the 17th minute before Rayan Cherki doubled the visitors’ lead in the 54th minute.
Two minutes later, Manchester City goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma conceded Palace’s only goal of the match, giving the hosts a way back into the contest.
Cherki restored City’s two-goal advantage in the 59th minute, scoring his second of the match and his team’s third.
Haaland then completed his brace in the 84th minute, adding City’s fourth and sealing a dominant victory for the visitors.
