Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona completed the signing of Germany international forward Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund on Thursday in a deal reportedly worth €29 million (US$33 million), including potential performance-related add-ons.

Barcelona officially announced that Adeyemi has signed a five-year contract running until June 30, 2031.
The 24-year-old, who can play across the front line, becomes Barcelona's second signing of the summer after the club secured the transfer of England international Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United.
Known for his exceptional pace and versatility, Adeyemi is capable of playing as a central striker or on either wing.
He strengthens Barcelona's attacking options following the departure of veteran striker Robert Lewandowski.
Barcelona also lost Marcus Rashford, who returned to Manchester United after his loan spell ended, leaving the squad short of attacking depth.
The Spanish champions have also submitted an offer for Atlético Madrid and Argentina forward Julián Álvarez, who remains the club's primary transfer target during the current summer window.
Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick, who gave Adeyemi his senior Germany debut in 2021, will reunite with the forward in Catalonia.
Adeyemi joined Borussia Dortmund from Red Bull Salzburg in 2022 and scored 36 goals in 146 appearances across all competitions during his four seasons with the German club before making the move to Barcelona.
