Al-Wehdat withdraws from Jordan Pro League in protest of JFA decision

AMMAN — Al-Wehdat FC announced its withdrawal from the Jordanian Professional Football League, in protest against the Jordan Football Association (JFA) decision to move their match against Al-Faisaly from King Abdullah II Stadium in Al-Qweismeh area to Al-Hassan Stadium in Irbid.اضافة اعلان

The derby match, which is set for 7:30pm on Friday, will be managed by a team of referees from Uzbekistan.

The match is pending the issuance of an official decision from the JFA on either returning the match to Qweismeh without fans, or applying a fine of JD100,000 on Al-Wehdat and a write-off of their results.
