Al-Faisaly, Al-Ramtha to meet for Shield Cup final

AMMAN — Al-Ramtha and Al-Faisaly football clubs will play for the Jordan Shield Cup title on Wednesday at 6pm at the Prince Mohammed Stadium in Zarqa governorate.اضافة اعلان

Al-Ramtha qualified for the final after coming in second amongst the three club groups. Al-Ramtha has six points from their victories over Mughir Al-Sarhan (1–0) and Sahab (3–1). Al-Ramtha lost to Shabab Al-Urdun (0–2) prior to the semifinals, and then won over Al-Hussein (1–0) in the semifinals.

Al-Faisaly reached the final after leading the second group with seven points. Al-Faisaly beat Al-Jazira (1–0) and Al-Wehdat (1–0), then tied with Maan (0–0), and later won against Shabab Al-Urdun in the semifinals by a penalty shootout 4–3, after regular time ended with the match tied 1–1.
