From Medicine to Media – A Life-Changing Leap
One of last year’s winners, Issa Al Habib from Kuwait, claimed the title of Best Change Maker Over 18. Initially pursuing a medical degree, Issa followed his passion for storytelling and video production—a spark ignited in childhood by a gift of a camera from his father. Despite the unconventional career shift, Issa’s journey into content creation was validated through this award, which he credits with elevating his professional profile.
Youngest Voice for Change
‘Aisha Al Khayyal, an Emirati under 18, made a remarkable impression in the previous SGCA cycle. Her thoughtful and inspiring content demonstrated that creativity knows no age. With messages that ignite curiosity, raise awareness, and spread hope, Aisha captured hearts and minds alike.
Speaking on her win, Aisha said:
“Winning the award motivated me to continue. It confirmed that sincerity and purpose outweigh years of experience—what really matters is passion and belief in the value of what we present.”
She encouraged young and seasoned creators alike to apply for the current cycle, calling the award a globally respected credential that empowers meaningful digital voices.
A Legacy of Empowering Content Creators
Previously named “Best Purposeful Digital Content Creator”, the category has evolved to more broadly recognize creators—writers, photographers, and video producers—who transform digital platforms into tools for constructive dialogue, knowledge sharing, and community connection.
The SGCA continues to serve as a beacon for creative, ethical, and socially responsible communicators—nurturing a new generation of digital changemakers.
